Time to review some of the best looks/ faux pas from the shows so far.
The beauty of this piece!! It's sheer layer mixed with the coverage it provides creates a very femme approach to cobalt. Also, loving the hat and boots I'm deffinately trying this look next winter!
Cushnie Et Ochs:
Loving the black number, it's a classic but updated with the sheer panelling. The green is a horrible shade of green, I much prefer a darker one, this lime is too yellow. But the shapes of the pieces especially the skirt are fabulous, perfectly fitting and at a length that isn't too long and nunish or short and revealing. The white however is a nice idea but as soon as you see nipples you know that the cut is TOO low, that kind of cleverage is just unacceptable! Lovely white though, the seams are in an interesting place too, but it's just too revealing.
Zoe Deutch and Jamie Chung at the Cushnie Et Ochs show
When it comes to the question of 'Who wore it best?' The winner is clear in my eyes Jamie Chung! The black is just so chic and the combo with the trousers gives it a sexy masculine edge. Zoe Deutch also looks amazing, the white looks great against her ski and accessorising with Gold was a good choice, I just prefer the streamlined effect of the black.
Nicole Miller:
Of course Miller's show was AHU-mazing I mean the use of black and charcoals is always going to be a winner in my books! This look for example is the bees knees! The complete gradient of greys with the smokey eye just gives me the vision of walking into a event in this and all eyes turning to it, it's just exactly what would set you apart from the crowd, a clash of the tonal greys.
LOOK AT THE PEACOCK!!!! I love Peacock feathers/print/EVERYTHING! The look on the far left is my favourite for sure! The bold angles of the jacket layered over the crop top and that beautiful peacock skirt. It's the best (one of) look of the collection, it sort of looks like something you'd expect Alexandra Spencer to wear (4th and Bleeker).
Ali Lohan got it right. Her look for the Miller show was on point. Sheer panels and a pepulum #winning, such a delicate yet tough top, the jeans I'm not feeling but I understand her desire to add some party on the bottom as well. If she had left it to the top half then the top would've stood out more but that's not what everyone wants I suppose...the ombré hair I like it. But the top, as it's a midnight-indigo colour rather than black it really highlights her complexion. It's not often people will go for a bluer shade of darkness if black doesn't suit them, black doesn't suit everyone!
